Project manager
Deborah Muir joined the APJC in March 2012 to lead the centre’s professional development programs for journalists across Asia Pacific. She has worked with journalists’ organisations throughout the region and was previously projects director with the International Federation of Journalists Asia-Pacific. She has also worked for news publications in Australia, Central America and Southeast Asia.

Alexandra Kennedy
Office manager and project officer
Alexandra Kennedy has been with the APJC since 2007. As well as managing the secretariat, she helped design programs and has worked as project officer on successful programs both in Australia and overseas. She has a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and a Graduate Diploma of Business Marketing.

Laura Gilmartin
Project officer
Laura Gilmartin began work with the APJC in 2011, helping execute the centre’s first Australian Leadership Awards fellowships focused on climate change and the environment. Laura has a Bachelor degree in Journalism and has spent time in Indonesia as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development (AYAD).

Li Jing Ji
Intern
Li Jing Ji helps the APJC as an interpreter for China initiatives and with general support for programs. He has a background in communication engineering and graphic design.
