International Development Fellowship for Australian journalists

Applications are invited from Australian journalists to join the International Development Journalism Fellowship from 12 to 26 March 2015, coordinated by the Asia Pacific Journalism Centre. Applications close at midnight Sunday 21 December 2014.

The inaugural fellowship includes a 3-day master class in Melbourne and a 10-day study tour to Cambodia. Four Australian journalists will be selected for the fellowship.

“The program will help those taking part to broaden their knowledge of economic and social development challenges in the Asia Pacific region, and it will give them a special insight into how the international aid and development sector functions in this context,’ said APJC Director John Wallace.

“We are very pleased to have this initiative endorsed by the Australian Council for International Development, and to have World Vision Australia as our partner for this first pilot program.”
