Iraq 10 years on: reporting the development challenge
In the lead up to the 10th anniversary of the start of the Iraq war (20 March), the APJC is organising a one-day Baghdad eTour for early to mid-career journalists interested in gaining experience in reporting on international development issues.
The one-day program will provide specialist briefings on the development challenges facing the people of Iraq 10 years after the start of the 2003 war.
It offers special opportunities to do live interviews with NGO representatives and others in Baghdad on pressing development needs.
Topic areas to be considered include physical and psychological health, infrastructure, human rights and justice, peacebuilding and security.
